Somehow this bacame my most 'stolen' photo, reposted and reuploaded way more than any other.
While I don't mind people uploading my photos in appreciation of them, I do insist that full credit is given,
firstly because that is both my right and the polite thing to do, but most importantly because people do claim my photos as their own, while sometimes this may be effectively harmless, sometimes it's part of a predatory behaviour, the 'dark side of image 'theft' ', I have heard of and seen people doing this, most often with this photo.
If you see this photo among a collection that is being presented as an example of either a photographers work, or a rope bondage riggers work, and it doesn't have either my name (Mark Varley, I use my real name in most places online) or my brand (BeautifulBondage.net), then stay away.
So for anyone who has seen this before and didn't know anything about it, this is my work (usually the copyright stamp in the corner is intact, that's my logo), I created both the ropework and took the photo, on the 4th of May 2009, in London. The model was a German girl named Ina, as part of my 'Bound' series she was tied and photographed in her own home, and in her case she'd bever been tied before.
I should point out that as with all of my bondage photos, the people photographed were modelling for me, not submitting to me.
