Bondage Week 2 - Day 3
I'm quite well known for my shibari and rope bondage in both the fetish world and photography world so I thought I'd do a 'bondage week' for the rest of this week featuring some photos from my recent book 'London Bound' which can be seen at
www.TwistedArts.co.uk/londonbound

Day 3 and we are at home with Suzie, a wonderfully expressive girl and a lover of bondage and all things fetish. She is sporting this seasons must-have outfit for submissive rope bondage fans, a 2-piece body binding with a web arm binding to the rear in natural 8mm hemp rope.
Lighting was a single flash unit from my left assisted and triggered by an on-camera flash to give some fill and the bright reflection in the upper left.

A reminder about this series of photos, I went back to a very 'raw' look for many of them, trying to show a gritty reality instead of a studio-perfect dreamlike idealism.

The gritty reality does fit the subject. Nicely done.
Mark Varley: Thanks Gail smile
I understand what you say in the last part of your text. For that reason this image I watch it in that sense. In opposite case, it would say that the reflection in the superior part of the crystal, distracts! smile
Mark Varley: Thank you José, many of the photos from this project have distracting elements, I leave them in in order to show the 'real' rather than look over-edited or staged. I hope you are liking this second set. smile
This is good gritty stuff Mark. For a moment there, I thought you typed web cam and not web arm. wink.
Mark Varley: hehehe thanks Sesan.

I like the strong b/w and lovely rope work. Does the rope have a pattern on it, or is that where it is twisted?
Mark Varley: Thank you Lilith. The rope is 'laid' (twisted) 8mm hemp.

Hi Mark. have been following your work for some time and enjoyed your work but this one has a very edgy feel to it that I like very much! This one almost makes me feel uncomfortable and I like that! top shot sir. mal
Mark Varley: Thank you Mal, I am very pleased to hear you responded that way :-D
